Tournament chess board with notation inlaid with maple or sycamore, which has undergone an ebony process. This has given the chess board an unusual appearance similar to chess boards made of precious ebony. It is a wonderful alternative to chess boards made of wenge wood.
The overall size of the board is 54x54cm. This chess board has ebony and light sycamore squares measuring 58x58mm and is ideal for our large 3.75" or Staunton No 6 pieces.
There are 4 felt pads on the underside of the chess board to ensure it moves smoothly and remains stable on a table, desk or other hard and level surface.
